While others focus on surface-level luxury, we obsess over the physics of the build. That’s the Forged standard

Mass production kills character. We don’t use assembly lines. We scribe every cabinet and finish every corner by hand. It takes longer to build this way, but the results ia a silent, rattle-free rig that is built to last a lifetime.

A van is a tool, not a trinket. Whether you need a 5-foot gear drawer for climbing racks or a drop-down ski rack for winter seasons, we design specific solutions for your gear. Stop moving piles of stuff and start adventuring.

Purpose-built features & storage

We refuse to build with cheap composites or toxic glues. We use sustainable Plyboo (bamboo) and paper-based Richlite. These materials are incredibly durable, water-resistant, and non-toxic.

Your van is your home. It should be safe to sleep in.

Materials that matter

Most adventure vans are overweight. Ours are athletes. By using smart, efficient design and engineering, we cut up to 2,000 pounds of unnecessary weight. That means better gas mileage, less wear on your suspension, and further access off-grid.

BORN IN THE DIRT

Arjan de Kock didn’t start Forged Vans to build a business. He just wanted to sleep under the stars.

Growing up on a grape farm in South Africa, Arjan learned that adventure doesn’t require luxury, but it does require gear that works.

From the African plains to the Colorado Rockies, he has applied a lifetime of obession towards one goal: building the perfect vehicle for a life lived outdoors.
